This Week
May 12, 2009
Well tonight we flyout to Atlanta. We land and then drive to Alabama I think. We have a show there tomorrow night and then we head off again to Atlanta for the benefit show we are having at the Murray Arts Center. Rumor is there is going to be a live recording of the show. That is what a little bird told me.
In other news ha, my sister-in-laws nephew is having tryouts this week with the Boston Redsox. This kid gabriel is exactly that, a kid who maybe able to go pro. We will see. He is only 19 years old and a lefty pitcher. So we will see if he gets to play with them or at least get into there farm system.
I am ready to play drums “son!”

Driving
May 8, 2009
I don’t enjoy driving very much, every morning I drive to 296 and park my car there hop on the Greyhound looking bus and sleep all the way to the metrorail. Hop on there and once again take another nap. By the time I get to work, I am well rested. I hate traffic jams! When I start seeing cars stacked up from a distance I start getting anxious, and annoyed, so no driving for me. Unless there is no traffic. It is Friday and I cannot wait for the weekend, I have nothing planned, lol just a few minor things here and there. Maybe hit the beach, maybe not, maybe sleep maybe not! Cannot wait to play some shows!

So It is almost Friday, I remember the Good Ol’ Days When Fridays were days off. Oh how I miss the LPC Office, but its all good. This morning has been a slow morning. Kinda tired anxious for the weekend, maybe hit the beach this weekend, tonight is Jam time again. Next week is a short week here @ UM. I leave to Alabama on Tuesdee with TSP for about a 3 day run with some shows in Atlnata aswell. I love playing drums, It doesn’t matter where it is, church, bar, venue, or my house, it is such a time to lose myself, I dont know if you have something that you can do that you can totally lose yourself doing. Some people like art, dance, singing, but for me it is drums! So the week after these shows I have another short week here @UM then it is off to Chicago for some more shows! Great Month. I miss mom n dad and I spoke with mom and she misses South Florida. Hasta Luego.

My Thoughts Are Still The “Same Same but different, I give you good price Gypsy”
we live in a “me” world. Its about what we can get out of something, and not really what I can give. I have spent some time just giving to myself all the things that I thought that I needed. God has such a cool way of working in my life. The way he has placed people in my life who have really impacted me in ways that can range from friendship all the way to business relationships. The one of the most important things I think I have learned is what God has done for me I must do for everyone around me. Its is time I put the things I love most to the side and begin motivating and uplifting the people around me to be successful people. Not only successful financially but spiritually, Though the walk with Christ can be very difficult at times but no work is ever easy! Jesus went through life being persecuted for standing for truth, breaking tradition, and really standing out in a world where difference was only the enemy. I think Jesus was and still is a really cool dude. I think the way to impact others is to be yourself, but most of all show Jesus through your life rather than just talking about him. Jesus was a friend to people, he didn’t judge you but he helped you get up when you would fall. He surrounded himself with people the world rejected and helped them become people of destiny and purpose. Though he May not be physically here, he did give us the task to do what he did. So in some sense we all need to realize that we can be like Jesus, And I think that is pretty cool person to be like.
