Rocky Is Moving To Homestead
January 29, 2008
Well who is this rocky character? He is my little dog. He is a Yorkie and I am excited to know that he is moving down to Homestead to live with me. These past couple of weeks he has had some health issues regarding his sight. He is doing better now thanks to my Sister who has been taking care of him since I have been gone. I know to some people it is kind of cheesy to be so close to there pets, but I have no shame in saying that Rocky is one of my bestfriends!! So this thursday he gets in to Miami International at 1232pm. I’m looking forward to him living with me. So when my parents go home I have my pup Rocky to spend time with.
Alex you would be surprised as to how many pet lovers are around you. I’ll be the first to tell you that my dogs whoopy & lucky have gotten me thru a lot of tough times since my husban died.
They are part of our family and would do anything for them, I also have a peacock living in my oak tree, Jesse took a little video of her and Anne has been around when I have to feed her. So you see you are not alone.
yeah- Shellbee (my Chihuahua) is my only child…Well I have
2 -soon 2 b step kids. But Shellbee is my family. @ a year old
she is spunky and argues with me if she doesnt get her treat
or a little bit of people food.
I also had 4 peacocks on the property where I live. They since moved over to the avocado grove next door. The males are so
beautiful.
Well I hope you are getting settled here in Hmstd. It used to be
a small country town. Now you have to drive much further West
to see crop fields. If you get the change- go to Knaus’s Berry Farm
for some goodies. Its on 248 st (Coconut Palm Dr) across from Redland Middle School. Go during the wk week since there are no lines. They close next month. Enjoy!
Peace!
